SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle in Sacramento.
Sacramento police say the crash happened around 3:15 p.m. near Valley Hi Drive and Mack Road around 3:15 p.m. Police have shut down both directions of Mack Road from Center Parkway to Valley Hi Drive for the investigation.
The man was taken to the hospital with major injuries and is still in critical condition.
Police say the driver is being cooperative in the investigation and that DUI is not a factor.
Police expect the closure to linger for a few more hours during the investigation.
