SACRAMENTO, Calif. — May is Bike Month! Deb Banks is the Executive Director of the Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates.
"Amazingly, this is the 20th year, so it's a bigger year than any and what we’re trying to do is get people to trade their car trips for some bike trips," said Banks.
Banks says most people drive two to five miles for errands. She suggests they give biking a try.
Many events are happening throughout our area that you can be a part of this month.
This is a regional effort so across the SACOG region there are close to 75 events in Sutter, Davis, Marysville and Folsom - so pick your place and go and have some fun," said Banks.
