YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash potentially caused by the weather, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP says the crash happened on Highway 65 north of Wheatland around 6 p.m. Two people were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and the road was closed from Oakley Lane to Evergreen Drive until about 8 p.m.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but CHP says heavy hail was on the ground during the time of the crash.
