2 taken to hospital after Yuba County crash

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but CHP says heavy hail was on the ground during the time of the crash.

YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash potentially caused by the weather, according to the California Highway Patrol

CHP says the crash happened on Highway 65 north of Wheatland around 6 p.m. Two people were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and the road was closed from Oakley Lane to Evergreen Drive until about 8 p.m. 

The cause of the crash is currently unknown, but CHP says heavy hail was on the ground during the time of the crash.
