Baby, 10-year-old among 4 hurt in Sacramento shooting

The quadruple shooting happened on Del Paso Boulevard and Fairfield Street.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A 1-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy and two adults were hurt after a shooting Saturday night near Del Paso Boulevard and Fairfield Street, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police rushed to the 2300 Block of Fairfield Street around 10 p.m. Saturday where they found "evidence of a shooting" and the two children with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The two adults showed up to a hospital, also with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation, according to police. Officers say the investigation is in its early stages and that they have no suspect information.

Witnesses with information on the shooting are asked to call investigators at 916-808-5471. Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers is offering anonymity and a reward of up to $1,000 for information reported to 916-443-4357.
