Homeowner shot during burglary in Lodi dies from injuries

The man initially survived the shooting, but a spokesperson for the Lodi Police Department confirmed with ABC10 the man died from injuries in the last few months.

LODI, Calif. — A man shot after interrupting three suspects trying to burglarize his home recently died from his injuries.

The shooting happened March 16 just before 11:30 p.m. along the 400 block of West Locust Street in Lodi. Police say a 45-year-old man interrupted a burglary at his home and was shot. 

The man initially survived the shooting, but a spokesperson for the Lodi Police Department confirmed with ABC10 the man died from injuries in the last few months.

By June, three people were ultimately arrested in connection with the shooting and burglary. They were identified as Rayshan Quarles, Isaiah Ware and Zachary Adler.
