RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — A shooting investigation is underway in Rancho Cordova Tuesday evening.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened around 5:06 p.m. at 3500 Data Drive. However, few details surrounding the shooting and what led up to it have been released at this time.
Deputies said the victim was taken away to the hospital and is being treated. The victim survived the shooting, despite being shot multiple times.
