SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An earthquake rattled the northern California coast Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The USGS says the quake, a magnitude 4.0, struck shortly after 12:13 p.m. nearly 95 miles west of Eureka.

Initially, officials reported a second, larger earthquake a minute apart from the 4.0 magnitude earthquake. The report of that second earthquake has since been removed from the USGS's website.

There are no immediate reports of damage. A map of where the earthquake was likely felt can be found HERE
