CALIFORNIA, USA — A man died after being hit by a car in Sacramento Monday night, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. in Sacramento's Northgate neighborhood near Northgate Boulevard and Winterhaven Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a man unresponsive in the road. The man was taken to a hospital where he died. The driver stayed on the scene.
The police department is investigating the crash. The man's identity hasn't been released.
