Employee at a Sacramento high school on leave after inappropriate conduct allegations

The principal said he couldn't share details about the allegations, but said the employee was vetted and cleared the background screening by the district.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An employee at a Sacramento high school was placed on leave after "inappropriate conduct" allegations at another job.

"I want to be clear that none of these allegations involve JFK students, nor do they relate to the administrator’s work or time at our school," John F. Kennedy High School Principal Reginald Brown said in a letter to families and staff.

Brown said he found out about the allegations last Thursday. He said he couldn't share details about the allegations, but said the employee had been vetted and cleared the background screening by the district.

John F. Kennedy High School is in the Sacramento City Unified School District.
