STOCKTON, Calif. — San Joaquin County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a homicide in east Stockton.
Deputies said they responded to reports of a man down in the 400 block of Anteros Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Sunday. When deputies got to the area, they found the man dead.
Investigators have released few details surrounding the death, but have classified it as a homicide. Officials are asking people to avoid the area as they investigate.
The victim was identified as 57-year-old Rodney Rhodes.
