SUTTER CREEK, Calif. — A man was hurt after his car went off Highway 49 and down an embankment near Sutter Creek Sunday.
According to the Sutter Creek Fire Protection District Chief Dominic Moreno, the single-car crash was reported near Highway 49 and Sutter Ione Road.
First responders got to the scene of the crash through a sewer treatment plant in the area and were able to get the man out of the car. He was flown to the hospital with major injuries.
