GALT, Calif. — A fatal crash has blocked all southbound lanes of Highway 99 at Central Galt Saturday evening, according to Caltrans.
The crash happened on the C Street overpass in Galt. A semi truck overturned and fell onto the highway according to California Highway Patrol. A total of three cars were involved in the crash.
The lanes were closed due to a diesel gas spill. The number one lane was reopened just before 9 p.m., according to officials.
